Al Khubairat Choral Society is a community of singers rehearsing and performing large and small choral works in Abu Dhabi. Named for - and supported by - the British School Al Khubairat, we bring together singers from all over Abu Dhabi.
Previous performances have included Carmina Burana in partnership with the Dubai Singers, and the Fauré Requiem, both supported by a full orchestra. Other recent projects have included Handel’s Messiah and Vivaldi’s Gloria, and we are delighted to be looking ahead to an exciting upcoming project: Vaughan Williams’ A Sea Symphony.
All singers are welcome — there are no auditions.
Rehearsals take place every Monday from 7pm to 9pm at the British School Al Khubairat (term time only), and we work towards three to four performances each year.
